WELCOME
to some of our
Australia experiences.

The background picture is of the
Cathedral Fig Tree in Queensland
Australia

These are just a very, very few places of beauty and interest we have visited in Australia.

To the left and above are
vineyards in the famed
wine country of
South Australia.

To the right are Mangrove
forests of Queensland
Australia.

To the left is the ferry to take
us across the Dante River.

To the right is Quicksilver Viii
awaiting to take
us on a high speed trip out to
Agincourt Reef for a day
of snorkeling and
scuba diving.

Queensland Australia is best
know for its Great Barrier Reef.

To the left is a sleek
wave piercing catamaran
that whisks us out to
a large pontoon for a day of
snorkeling and diving.

To the left and right
are two views of the gigantic
Wave Rock in
western Australia,

On the near right and
far right are just two of
the thousands of different
fantastic geological
formations that can be
found in the
Jenolan Caves
on the west side of the
Blue Mountains in
eastern Australia.

There are nine magnificent
cave systems to explore.

To the left is Blue Lake.

To the left is the magnificent
Curtain Fig Tree.

To the right is the grandeur
of the huge
Curtain Fig Tree.

To the left is another view
of the Cathedral Fig Tree.

To the right we give you
a prospective of just how
enormous these fig trees
really are.
The Undara Lodge is located on the Atherton Tablelands
of Queensland Australia. The Lodge is actually many
old-time Railroad cars that have been set up in the
outback of Queensland. Each car has been converted
into four comfortable "hotel rooms." (see the picture to
the lower left.) Around the Undara Lodge there are
hundreds of miles of Lava Tubes (see photos below.)
Note the people walking in the tube in the middle.
The two-car Savannahlander
train will take a leisurely
400 kilometer trip through
the outback from
Forsyth to Mt. Surprise.

About twenty kilometers
beyond Forsyth lies the erie
and beautiful Cobbald Gorge.

To travel the Gorge in a
flat bottom boat with an
electric motor is a
remarkable experience.

To the right are the
magnificent Pinnacle Rocks
that have puzzled
geologists since their
discovery.

The left and the right
are some closeups of
these strange formations
making up the
Pinnacle Rocks

A short way out of Brisbane
Australia, there are three
theme parks. In Dreamworld,
you can play with white tigers.
In SeaWorld, you can play
with Dolphins.

When we finished playing in
Dreamworld and SeaWorld,
we went to play in
Warner Brothers Movie World

The towering Remarkable
Rocks on Kangaroo Island
are another geological
enigma.

And what would Australia
be without the beloved
kangaroo?

We met he challenge of the
Gloucester Tree,
the world's highest climbing
tree in south west Australia.
The platform at the top is
over 180 feet above the
ground.

Up to the very top for
a magnificent view.

The famed Treetop Walk
above the
LAND OF THE GIANT TREES
in south western Australia.

The immediate right is
a view of the beautiful
mountains and the
Coral Sea on the
east coast of Australia.

A beautiful beach in the
same area.

Walk the beaches in Cairns
and you will be startled by
the patterns of little balls of
sand seen to the left.

If you are patient and quiet,
you will see a little crab
emerge from a hole in the
center. He is a Bubbler Crab.

The Kuranda Skysail takes
us seven kilometers over the
treetops passed the
magnificent Baron Falls

The ride from the base of the
mountain in Cairns to the
village of Kuranda at the top
of the mountain can be
taken by train or by cable car.

To the left is the train that
travels from Cairns to
Kuranda, passing through
eighteen tunnels carved
through the rocks of the
mountains. To the right
is a close up view of
Barron Falls.
The falls are spectacular
right after a rainfall.
The beautiful Mossman
Gorge outside of
Port Douglas in
Queensland Australia
is another place of
tranquility and beauty.
Beautiful beaches and
magnificent rainforests
and so much more like
The Gloucester Tree
Cobbold Gorge
Jenolan Caves and yes,
even Warner Brothers
Movieworld amusement park.
This is only a very, very tiny sampling of the "trips of a
lifetime." We hope that you will really make an effort
to travel to Australia one day.

There are so many things to see and
the Australian people are wonderful.
